Hello to all,

This is a very good thread and I appreciate Rindy for getting it started! thumbs_up.gif

As for my little clan, we'll be staying local and hopefully safe, so my prayers and blessings go out to each of you who are travelling and to those of you who share your homes with family, friends and perhaps just plain strangers - may God bless you with his love and kindness and may all who dwell under your roof be a blessing to you!

Madadh's comments make me very happy - all is good and you, my friend, are so greatly blessed - it's good to count one's blessings!

Here's looking at 2007 - may the coming year be filled with hope and peace!

I'd like to wish everyone, a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. May the good Lord Bless you all.

Madadh, how wonderful for you and your family, to have your Son back from Iraq and home for Christmas. My youngest Son was there we missed one Christmas with him there. And now my Grandson (My oldest Sons Son) is in Iraq now he's with a Recon Unit! got a phone call from him the other day he's doing well.

May the Lord richly bless your Son for his service to our country and I thank him.

Again a Very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Just to let everyone know, my grandson Connor was born 8pm yesterday. He weighed in at 7lbs 11 oz and was 21 inch long. Mother, baby, and grandma are doing fine.

P.S. Antonio, my prayers are with you and your family while your loved ones are in Iraq. My son was there for 16 months doing combat operations so I know how you feel. Just know that they have some of the greatest equipment infantryman have ever had and that they are generally safer there than in most of our major cities.

I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and blessed New Year.

I am disgusted with myself that I did not get Christmas cards out this season, but have a plan to get out New year's cards.

Take care and be safe this holiday season, y'all!

And why shouldn't they except puts the mailman out of a job. should get him one too...but I didn't. I have been pushing it to the limits this year.

Anyhow MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and Fred and the pups...hope they are doing well. Did you ever get the pics up?

Hey Rindy! Bet your mighty cold up there in those yonder hills! We are chilly here and bundled up like goofy desert rats! LOL I saw someone today dressed in shorts and flip-flops and me and another gal both said to her, you must not be from around here. She laughed as she was not and thinks we are all wimps. But we have lots thinner blood than her cause we have to be prepared for our long hot summers! hee hee

Anyway, I do believe that Christmas cards are on their way out, too. But not everyone has email and unless you had email, you didn't receive a card from me! sad.gif Sure nice receiving them through the mail though. I feel so guilty cause I have been receiving some every day and here I sent out none, well with the exception of gifts I mailed out to folks. I enclosed a card in with the gift. I even managed to give my mail carrier a Christmas card and enclosed a gift card for Starbucks, so hopefully that made her happy.

Ok. No snow in the desert, but we did get rain today.

Merry Christmas again!

Madadh, Congratulations Grandpa!! is this your first grandchild. Grandchildren are great you can get back at your kids, for all the little things they did to drive you nuts. You just spoil the Grandchildren then send them home.

And thank you, your prayer are always welcome. I know that our military men and their equipment is the best in the world. Take care my Friend.

And a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all.

I, too, want to add congratulations to grandpa Madadh. What a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus, with your very own miracle.

Antonio.. You must be very proud of your grandson. We all need to remember to pray for these fine men and women.
