I have many favorite TV shows. Probably would take up the whole space here. LOL

Here is a miniscule of my list.
1. Desperate housewives....mystery, drama and much comedy!
2. Grey's Anatomy...drama with mystery and comedy
3. American Idol! I can't believe people think they can sing! LOL
4. Survivor...love the personality dynamics
5. Big Brother...same as above
6. The Amazing Race. ....the personality dynamics and all the places they get to visit.
7. Ugly Betty! I absolute love this show and everything about it!
8. 48 Hours Mystery. While I really love this show it appears that most of the programs are about spouses killing one another! unsure.gif
9. Boston Legal: the two lawyers are hilarious to me!
10. Nancy Grace

Shows I do not like:
1. Most comedy sitcoms....to silly for me.
2. Rome on HBO. Thought I would love this but when I heard actors using 21st century language, that really turned me off. I am a history buff and prude.
3. Deadwood. I really wanted to enjoy this show but the bad language is beyond what I would expect how people really spoke in the 19thc. Perhaps they did, but regardless if they did or not, it really turned me off.
4. Used to be a dedicated Saturday Night Live fan. What the heck happened? it is no longer funny! unsure.gif

Favorites - typically any crime drama
1. Law & Order
2. L&O CI
3. L&O SVU
4. Bones
5. Numbers

We also watch 24, mostly for my wife (I don't really like, although there is a quote from it on my sig line).

Least favorites, hard to say. If I don't like 'em, I don't watch 'em!

TV rots your brain.

The vast majority of programming I find painfully insipid.
I can't stand "reality shows", I find sitcoms too stupid for words, I couldn't possibly care less about Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, or Anna Nicole Smith, and dramas I find deeply disturbing; what does it say about a culture that finds sexual assault and child molestation, mass murder, and graphic images of mutilated decomposing corpses entertaining?

Go get some exercise and fresh air. Read a book, make something, play music, go to a coffeehouse or pub and have a conversation with someone. Pretty much anything would be a better use of your time, and healthier for you mentally, spiritually, and physically.

TV is a double edge sword, and it’s probably the reason we’re now fat and stupid. Just the way “Big Brother” wants us to be. Take the show 24 for example. To me it’s just propaganda, or to scare us into buying something that you don’t need.
Of course that’s not to say that I don’t watch TV, but very selectively. Hey… Does anyone remember Sea Hunt; it was my favorite show at the time.

Dr Who is the only one I try not to miss. Other than that I usually watch the Daily Show or the History channel. My wife usually has the TV tied up to the WB watching Charmed and all the others that follow it (Law & Order, etc). I'm usually on the internet. Can't stand any of the teen-scratch that-family shows that make men, especially fathers, look like idiots (Disney loves these programs) who couldn't find their bums if their mental superior wives didn't show them where they were. The Simpsons is the only exception to that rule. But I suppose we had it coming for all those George and Gracie shows.

At least the internet can't rot my br...ohh smilies!!!

Hey, John, I remember Sea Hunt. Actually thought that was a pretty cool show.

I admit it. What little TV I watch includes American Idol. Love Simon. What can I say?

Truth is, if I can watch anything I want, give me that classic Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck stuff. I'm telling you, Mel Blanc never gets the credit he was due for his amazing vocalization work. Numero Uno!

I very much enjoy, American Idol. I sooooooo love Simon Cowell. He is honest, straightforward, does not patronize and tells it like it is...his opinion. Take it or leave it! I respect that in people as you always know where you stand with folks like that.

Oh I loved Sea Hunt! Terrific show!

Anyone who can remember the original Sea Hunt TV show… must be in the prime of their lives. That is to say that they can remember the show, but can’t remember what they had for breakfast.

Have fun today, no matter how serious it get.

I don't watch much TV. Well not anything for "grown-ups" anyway. Disney and ABC fasmily are on a lot around here.
I do watch Court TV when I can as well as any forensic themed shows. If I could that would be a really cool job...well, if you didn't have to deal with bodies and blood and that stuff. Maybe a forensic Phychiatrist would be interesting.

lol, your house sounds like mine. I have had enough of the Disney Channel's "The suite life of zach and cody "and "that's so raven" to last a lifetime, but the kids really seem to enjoy it!

Yeah, but what hurts is when you explain that Lloyd Bridges was Beau's and Jeff's father and "they" say, "Who are Beau Bridges and Jeff Bridges?"

Agreed. The only one that I really watch any longer is "24", other than that I don't know much more of what is on.
