I have never been able to convince my partner to trace the lost brothers and sisters that were sent to Australia. At the age of 55 the scars still hurt him. Jax

Banned Member Group: Celtic Nation Posts: 69 Joined: 25-Oct-2002 Zodiac: Birch	Jaxom I remember seeing a documentary - I think on BBC1 - about an organisation based in the Midlands - somewhere like Nottingham or Derby - that helped trace UK siblings of the emigrant children. I'll have a bit of a search and see what I can find. Maybe if you had an organisation for your partner to contact, he might be more amenable to starting what can appear to be an insurmountable task?

A truly awful place. The cruelty and sexual abuse suffered by children there should be made known to a wider audience.
