Do, dw i wedi siarad a^ Wizard am ein problem ni! Dywedodd y byddai'n son amdano wrth y moderators. Ond fe'i wneuthum ar yr un diwrnod pan newidwyd i Gaelic Languages, ac ni chefais ateb eto - ychydig o wythnosau ar ol. Beth ydych yn meddwl? Dylwn i wneud/ddweud rhywbeth arall?

Mae Celtic Radio wedi dechrau fforwm yn General Discussion. "Celtic Radio has lost one of own" yw'r teitl, dw i'n credu.
Dw i'n ei golli hefyd! Dw i'n cro! Ond person emosiynol ydw i wir.

Wyt ti mewn cyswllt theulu Keith, Gwen? Os wyt, a elli di basio ein cydymdeimladau iddynt? Mae wedi bod llawer o gefnogaeth ar Celtic Radio er mwyn cofio Keith ac er mwyn mynegi cydymdeimladau dwfn iawn.

Celtic Radio has set up a thread in the General Discussion. "Celtic Radio has lost one of our own" I believe is the title.
I miss him too! I'm crying! But I am an emotional person.

Are you in touch with his family, Gwen? If so, are you able to pass on our condolences? There has been quite a gathering on Celtic Radio to remember him and express deepest sympathies.

We will miss him so much in the Welsh forums. A massive presence has left our little community. He was so much fun!
I never met him in person, but I can't help but be incredibly saddened by this , and find myself without a friend. I think we're all in deep mourning in the Welsh forum. Can't help but shed a tear writing this.

I'll ask Junko Salmon, AKA Gwenynen, who is in touch with his family to keep us posted with news, and to send his family all your condolences.

Nid wyf yn sicr sut i fynegi fy nhristwch, ond roeddwn yn teimlo ei fod yn bwysig i gofio ein ffrind Keith a oedd yn hwyl da, ag agwedd gyffrous. Yr ydym i gyd yn ei golli yma yn barod.

I am not sure how to express my sadness, but I felt it important to remember our friend Keith who was good fun, with an exciteable attitude. We all miss him here already.

It's not his Welsh name! Sorry!

Myrddin is his Welsh name. Like the town Caerfyrddin. "Merlin's Fort".

It doesn't look like Nymenche is Gaelic either as the Gaelic languages avoid the letter Y.

Possibly Cornish, but Cornish is very similar to Welsh so I'd be surprised if it were so different from the Welsh.

Dw i wedi bod yn trio cwrdd a^ dy ffrind, Peggi, Austaff. Mae wedi bod yn anodd am ein bod ni ddau yn brysur iawn. Ond gobeithio y byddwn ni'n cwrdd yr wythnos nesaf.

Ah you might have a point, Gwen. Y is the most difficult letter in Welsh as it's the most unpredictable. My friend and I are discussing it right now on the phone!
She agrees with you. I say KEED and KUN in every case, but she's telling me it's "tafodiaith"! Thinking about it, I overlooked exceptions. Generally, the rule I gave works, but with the letter Y, there are going to be exceptions. If in doubt, consult a dictionary or ask me. If I'm in doubt, I'll ask around my friends.

Do you mean "sillafu", Gwen?

cyd is pronounced keed. so keednabod, keedweithio etc.

cyn is pronounced kun. so kunddrwg etc.

will answer the other question later - i have to go now sorry!!!

Rydym yn dweud "heddiw", sy'n gweithio'n dda.

Mae llawer o bobl yn dweud "dyddiau ma" ond mewn gwirionedd, dw i ddim yn ei hoffi! Mae'n flin gennyf!
