I wanted to share this bit of info. with anyone that might be interested.  Supposedly what is believed to be ancient celtic inscriptions was found in 3 neighboring counties in my state of WV.  Some believe it to be Native American petroglyph. I plan  in the near future to visit one of the sites where the inscription is.

There is a web site that you can visit and it will give you more details and what the inscripton says.

WOW! Astounding - this means that there were ancient Eropeans here way before Christopher Columbus!!!  :D

I want to find out more about these petroglyphs myself - thanks for the post Maggie!

It has been suggested that a Welsh Pince called Madoc reached mainland USA, in the 13th Century.

Being new to the Celtic radio site I happened acrossd this posting and thought you all may find this book interesting. It was written by James Alexander Thom, and is tittled The Children Of The First Man. Mr. Thom writes historical fiction and the book is about Madoc and his tribe. It was enjoyable reading.
