Hay, I found "The Scotsman" on Kazaa, downloaded it. It's a very good version in my opinion, but it also has another verse at the end of it I had never heard before.
It is very funny.

I don't remember the name of the guy that sings it.

Has anyone else haerd this other last verse??

Hi,
I believe the one you downloaded is the one that is by Bryan Bowers. On the request list is the same version but it is under John Denver. Check that one out and see if it is the same. Or, you could go through all the versions on the list and find out with one you have. I for sure wouldn't mind hearing a bunch of different versions of it as I do think it is funny.
Hope this helps.

The version that is listed on the request list as John Denver is actually Bryan Bowers. It is listed as being written by (cross) and off of Bowers Album -Home, Home on the Road. From Flying fish records 1980.

I hope that helps a little.... unsure.gif walkman.gif

I had to wait till I got home to see who it was that did the version I had.

Seamus Kennedy

and the final verse goes like this;

"Our Scottish freind still dressed in kilt, continued down the street,
He hadn't gone ten yards or more when a girl he chanced to meet,
She said "I've heard what under there, tell me if it so"
He said "Just slip your hand up miss, if you'ld really like to know"
Ring ding ding........ (you all know this part)

She put her hand right up his kilt, and much to her surprise,
The Scotsmans smiled and a very strange look came to his eyes,
She cried "Why sir thats grusome", Then she heard him roar,
"If you put your hand up once again, you'll find its grew some more"

I would say that those are, Seamus' lyrics added to the song.
Quite funny, I must say! LOL!
