uhhh, oops
Posted by Aaediwen on Sep 7th, 2004 3:29 AM
uhhhm. Ihhh thank Ih broked it.
Upgraded the X drivers for my video card, now I don't have TV out and console is fubar'd again. Blast it all!

Rolled back.... This thing needs a ton of updates. Some packages not new enough for Firefox, depmod is trying to freak out on me now, wouldn't hurt to have a newer X server, still running a 2.4 kernel, and a new Video card would be good. Maybe I'll play with building a new LFS for a while smile.gif

Morning stories
Posted by Aaediwen on Aug 31st, 2004 4:28 AM
Sometimes the simple things just need to be appreciated. I had been aiming for some time to just walk outside one night and just be. Mom left for work this morn' Well before daybreak. There's a fog on, a full moon in the crystal clear sky. I step out. and walk a bit. Then, through the foliage of some nearby trees, the moonlight shines in eternal patterns. Calling me to stand a minute, and listen. I stop, step into the trees and watch through the foliage. Listening.
I hear the tale of travellers. Travellers of long ago, journeying by night. Putting one foot in front of the other by this same etherial light. Their mission unknown, their jorneys long over. I watch them, as they too stare into the night sky, through the fog. Listening for stories of times long past. And listening to stories, of times yet to come. When many years later, one lone soul, would be standing by the road in a black cloak. Staring up through the trees and the fog, hearing the story of them. Walking a long forgotten road.

Who will I be?
Posted by Aaediwen on Aug 23rd, 2004 9:26 AM
Who will I become, I wonder
I know who I am, I believe I know where I stand
Where will I stand come tomorrow?

Thank You
Posted by Aaediwen on Aug 22nd, 2004 6:47 PM
A thank you to my dreams

Screams of joy
I feel I know where I am
I'm glad to be here
How'd I get here though
For Am I worthy
I must be
maybe?
I wouldn't be here if I weren't would I?
Thanks to those who support me
Those who are there, my friends. My family
God/Goddess
Thanks to those who are part of the dream themselves
Part of the dream, part of my reality
My dreams, are crossing the boundary
Dreams... becoming reality.
Thank you. Thank you all.
