On Friday, March 23, 2007, The Irish Cultural Center located at 1106 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004 will be presenting Sarah & Michi, harp & fiddle duo:- Slavic and Celtic madness - one night only.

March 23, 2007
7:30pm
$5.00 cover

Sarah and Michi met at a hot springs in Colorado - the talk flowed, and finally so did the music. When they played at the Bristol Renaissance Festival, traffic stopped. When
they played in bars, bikers bought folk CD's. The girls even made it onto Chicago TV this summer. Sarah and Michi are ready for a desert debut. They play Celtic music from Sarah's albums and Slavic tunes from Michi's, but also throw in some covers and try out original compositions. Even if you know one, you're guaranteed to hear something new when the two are together!

About Sarah Marie Mullen: It took seven years, and the organization of a neighborhood garage sale, for Sarah to obtain her first nineteen string lap harp. She studied with Karen Stern, Diane Michaels, and later Yolanda Kondonassis at Oberlin College.
She can now be found performing at festivals around the United States and passing on her love of the harp.

About Michi Regier: "Michi Regier joined me, Gypsy bluegrass celtic classical-style fiddler...You don't get a whole lot of Gypsy bluegrass celtic classical-style fiddlers
anymore... She lives in the Chicago area now. She's more fun than a watermelon...I wanted about four more hours of it." (written by Jonathan Byrd in April 2006 - used by permission)
