Jim Malcolm has done it again! The former lead singer of the Scottish group Old Blind Dogs has released another terrific project. I love all of Jim's work, but this may be among his best.

Some of my favorite tracks include An Hour in the Gloaming (my favorite) Schiehallion, The Shearing, and The Valley of Strathmore. The song Down in Alabama is hilarious. It is basically about a Scotsman trying to figure out Southern Cuisine. Priceless! Jim also wrote a song based on the Robert Frost poem The Road Less Taken.

This s worth a listen! If you purchase this project from Jim's website, his wife, Susie, can even have him sign it for you.

Would love to hear other's feedback. Yes, I am a fan!! Looking forward to more music from Jim in the future!

Jim is a wonderful singer & musician. Along with his solo work, I & haynes recommend giving a listen to his Old Blind Dogs work: The Worlds Room, Gab O'Mey and Fit? Did I miss any haynes?

Good call, JP! The only one you missed was Play Live, which was recorded during the spring of 2004. It does a really good job of showcasing how the lads sound in a concert setting. Very good!

The OBD post-Jim recording Four on the Floor is also very good. The band did not replace Jim when he left, but chose to showcase the voices of the other members. I particularly enjoy Aaron Jones' singing, but they are all good.
