I watched my new "The Alamo" DVD last night! It was so good to see it again. I missed out so much on the first time watching it. Loved all the special features in it too.

So it's not just a "Backdraft" retread?

I was afraid that's what it was gonna be...

urian thanks for the brief review of "Ladder 49". Now I know I'm going to see it.

I recently went and saw "Vanity Fair" starring Reese Whitherspoon. Yes...it's a "chick" movie, but an intellectual chick movie. I really enjoyed the story based on the book entitled "Vanity Fair". Reese Whitherspoon is a wonderful actress. I have to admit a guy wouldn't last 20 minutes in this movie. It left the theatres and now you'll have to rent it to see.

Am I right in thinking that someone watched van Helsing? I can`t find it through the thread but I`m positive someone on here watched it.

I saw Shaun of the Dead the other night and laughed my socks off.

Last night we watched Van Helsing. Now it wasn't overwhelming but I'd like to have her outfit for Halloween. It was really a great looking outfit!

I just bought Van Helsing myself. I love her outfit as well, especially her white shirt with the red sewn into it. If anyone likes historical based movies you should check out Quills. It is a tad eccentric and dark, but it is one of my new favorites. Also because it has Geoffrey Rush and Joaquin Phoenix.

I saw Kate and Leopold last night. Yes, it is a chick flick, but a good chick flick.

I saw The Hot Chick the other night! It was funny and enjoyable. Two of the SNL members were in the film.

I rented "The Day After Tomorrow" recently. Three words: cheesy disaster movie. If that's you cup of tea (as it is mine biggrin.gif ), you'd like it.
