Camchak, do i look like a Oma? I'm not German! I'm a good little Scottish-Irish Hellion! My avatar is me! I've got to have a name to fit Me! Please try some more!
Irish gaelic for grandma is "mamo", my scottish dicationary sayd grandma is "seanmhair", I think mamo is really cute!

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it; And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile, And with dew from his eye often wet it. It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.
Congrats on the new baby. I will keep your family in my thoughts. As to the name how about "mammaw". It is what I used to call my great grandmother. She was a fiesty lady with a wild checkered past.
I do believe one of her husband's what buried under a rock in the front yard. Haven't figured out if she did him in and put him there or if it was natural causes and was just buried there for a lack of a place.
