On this friday evening I am chilling out here on the ol' PC, while the wife naps on the couch. We're supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow this weekend.
Tried to listen to Highlander Radio, but this dial=up connection makes it pointless.
I gave up...

Filling up the wood stove and my glass. Hiding from the 3rd snow storm in three weeks and dreaming warm thoughts.

It's late afternoon here and I've finished some paperwork (oh, how I love it! sad.gif ) and all the things around the house, chilling now and browsing the net.

I've just gotten home from a visit to the Doctor's office for a check-up on how my meds & diet are getting my diabetes under control. The doc was pleased with my blood sugar numbers which have come down, and my blood pressure was lower too... but I'd only lost 3 more pounds since the last visit and I had hoped to have lost 10 or more. I don't eat much now, and am thinking 'good heavens, what can I cut out now??'

sad.gif But its good to know the diet and meds have worked to get me closer to normal.

Well I made it through the day. Knowing Albannach and the Hooligans were not more than 30 minutes away, I had to stay busy. But there is still tomorrow, and I just might break down and go. Now if I can find out where my husband hid my wallet!!!!!

Sitting here at work bored as all heck watching the snow fall and hoping it doesn't get too dangerous before I have to make the way back home! Wishing I was somewhere warm at this time of the year, i am not a fan of cold weather at all.

Also, hoping to get news on a new position at work. I'm hoping I get it, I've worked at this place longer than I would have liked but in a small place like this you don't have many options, it's usually either a coal mine or a call center or a fast food restaurant.
