The only time I have a name for my car is when it's not running right then it's called "Apieceofsh--" Annabelle
Amen...Annabelle....My 1st car was a 1968 Mustang. (Wish my husband and I hadn't been stupid when we were younger. He had a 1973 Mach I. Both gone. ) My favorite one was a 1991 Ford Explorer. Now my husband has me in a 1997 F-250 Powerstroke. Someday I will get to pick my own vehicle. LOL

Since we had been talking about this I decided I needed to name my new Truck a 250 Diesel, awe awe, more power work truck!
I love me toys! So I decided to name it "Buckie". Everyone always "ie's" my name so I figured if it was good for it's owner it would be good for it.... Annie A
Oh..... Ya gotta love a redhead with a big ol' work truck that likes mountain iving!........well, OK, "I" gotta! Annabelle, where the heck were ya when I was doing all my mountainy-man stuff in the Rockies and The Sierra? For that matter, where were you when I was doing that farm thang? I looked all over for a dream girl like you....where WERE you?
Oh, that's right..................Salinas.....
Heal up, my friend! All respect,

My last Safari van we affectionately called ticker due to this constant loud ticking in the engine.
Our current Safari van we call Sticker because the the gas pedal sticks. You keep applying pressure trying to accelerate smoothly and it lets loose all at once. This can be quite exciting especially when backing a trailer full of band gear into a tight spot at a venue
I also have a 2 tone Ford Escort that I call Beater Because when you look at it from any angle it looks like a beater

For a while I had an old Dodge van I named "Probable Cause". No matter what angle you saw it from, you could articulate probable cause to make a stop (it's a cop thang).
For several years I rode a '74 Harley sportster name "Piglet" (with the image of the Winnie the Pooh Piglet holding a lance painted on the oil tank.) For those you who don't recognize honest to by-God American motorcycles, the sportster is the smallest of the Harley line. If you call a big Harley a "Hawg" then a little one just has to be a "Piglet".
My current ride is "Big Green", a '98 Dodge Ram 2500 extended cab, 4X4, heavy 3/4 ton pickup (1 ton rear-end and suspension) with a turbo-charged Cummins diesel.

My 1995 Miata is named Grover. He's blue, like the Sesame St. character. Like Grover, he has been known to fly. He also sings quite well. (his exhaust plays a great tune).

Told someone I had named my Truck " Buckie" that Buckie and I were going over to the mall...when I explained it was the truck they just looked at me like I had 2 heads...
The TC's in hibernation, so for now I guess I'll just call her 'sleeping thunder'.
I've been driving Clark around for two days now, and I'd forgotten how much I love this old truck. Damn, it's like you can see everything from up here.
