Several feet of snow and -26c and enough wind to make it feel around -40c!
I've never voted for harsh Winters and I don't see why I should have to put up with them just because skiers, snowboarders and snowmobilers like it. A grumpy Hmmpphh to the lot of them.
Yesterday we were close to 70, today 26 w/ -4 windchill, snow and 50 mph winds.
This is why we are all sick.

Speaking of sick...yep, it's my turn. My SO has been coming down with whatever's making the rounds and I can feel it creeping up on me today at work. I'm leaving shortly and am going straight home to some orange juice and lots of Vitamin C.
The weather outside is lovely but I'm not even in the mood to care. I just want to get home!

It is 1:07 AM in beautiful downtown Perryville, AR and under clear skies it is 34 degrees with a light Northernly Breeze. Perfect night for Imbolc Celebrations.
We did have some snow a couple of weeks ago - as a matter of fact - we had two snows in Smyrna that both produced about an inch or two. My best friend got married in the snow on Jan. 19 - beautiful wedding pictures. I don't know when we had two snows in Smyrna within one week - but we did!

"Be what you would seem to be--or, if you'd like it put more simply--Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise." from "Alice in Wonderland"
It's snowing, sleeting, freezing rain and they are talking high winds developing. All schools and much everything else is closed. Most of our communities are out of salt and the roads are all very icy. Cars and trucks are spinning out all over the place. They are telling everyone to stay in if they can. The snow is pretty and makes the world all beautiful but it's time for spring to come. Rebecca
