We have decided to turn the keys to our music selection and rotation completely over to YOU! the listener!
What does this mean? Every time you rate or request a song, the Celtic Radio database will adjust not only the rating of the song, but the weight of the song.
The weight of the song is used by our broadcast software to select what song plays next. A higher weight, the song plays more often; a lower weight, the song plays less.
Here is a screenshot of the new rating confirmation box:
Possible Weighting Values:
No Rotation: 0% - 9%
Rare Rotation: 10% - 19%
Light Rotation: 20% - 39%
Medium Rotation: 40% - 59%
Heavy Rotation: 60% - 79%
Power Hit: 80% - 100%
This is just another way we are making our broadcast interactive for our listeners. And it reinforces our belief that listeners know what they want to hear - not some corporate board room!

Enjoy!
There is a corporate board room involved with Highlander Radio???
Perish the thought!!! Even if that would put me on the board of directors. I find that thought rather unnerving too.
