Distant Oaks is a wonderful group and I am sure that Deborah was extremely proud of everthing her two sons accomplished with her. We were so impressed with Distant Oaks that we made them a featured artist - and that is something that we have only done for 18 groups!
Our hearts and prays go out to the White family.......
She was an inspiration to me, and I will greatly miss her. She worked with me many times over the years in learning Scottish Gaelic and was a dear and trusted friend. I am deeply saddened by her passing, but celebrate her home-going with her family.

'S i Alba tìr mo chridhe. 'S i Gàidhlig cànan m' anama. Scotland is the land of my heart. Gaelic is the language of my soul.
I'm so sorry to hear that... My heart goes out to her family!

May those who love us love us. And those that don't love us, May God turn their hearts. And if He doesn't turn their hearts, May he turn their ankles, So we'll know them by their limping
May you live as long as you want, And never want as long as you live.

I've only just heard, I got an email from her husband, Chris, he had a wrong email address for me, hence the delay.
We are devastated, such a loss, I thought she was getting well. I count it a priviledge to have spent a couple of days with them last year. Deb was a wonderful human being and she leaves two very fine and talented sons with their father.
My only joy is knowing of her solid faith in God, hence the certainly of seeing her again.
