Wow Rindy sounds like you've had quite a trip. 10 hour drive. Hope you had restroom breaks biggrin.gif
Good afternoon everyone. It's a nice beautiful day here and I should be outside instead of sitting here at the computer.
Hope everyone has a fabulous dayuser posted image

I thought I'd share with you a picture of my new church, Saint Fabian in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Hey, that's a nice web site! About a year ago I decided my church needed an online presence since so many people moving into a community check it out online first...

Austell First Baptist

It seems to have helped the church a bit; I don't always hear directly whether anyone contacts the church or not as a result of it, but I've had one musician email me from it asking for directions (that's when I put the downloadable map - doh, shoulda thought about that earlier!!) And the church office has had people comment that they found out about an event via the site.

The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king..."

QUOTE (gwenlee @ 17-Oct-2005, 07:21 AM)
Hi everyone. I hope everyone is fine. I attended the games at Stone Mountain and had a wonderful time. I got to meet SB and her family. They are a wonderful family. CR you have been blessed with such a good friend. I went to the Clan tent after dancing and was told a lady had stopped by looking for me and left a message she would be back at 2 PM. I was so excited. We ended up seeing each other at the SCD dance stage. We both had our Donnachaidh shirts on. I tried to get SB to dance but wasn't successful.

You're sweet! And you've got yourself a wonderful little family too, my dear.

Now about the dancing, I think I would have been the Comic Relief... you and your friends were so smooth and knew all the steps, I just didn't want to make a goober of myself up there.

Anyone have big plans for the weekend?
Any chores to do before the long dreary days and nights of winter set in?

Of course Rindy, you have probably already had snow! biggrin.gif

Rindy, thanks for the compliment on the witch. I love Halloween. Work is a 3 ring circus as usual but it pays.

The leaves are just starting to turn in Indiana and the woods are full of deer. I love this time of year. Just about have all our firewoon ready for winter and the furnace people come next week to service the furnace. Then we can turn the heat on in the mornings to take the chill off.
Have a fabulous day.

Hey!

Thanks Stoirmeil and Rindy for the well wishes! Much appreciated. I'm on the hunt for a reliable dentist now, before it may become infected...I've made a list of questions to ask-- like billing procedures etc...but if anyone can think of something important to ask I'm all ears. I don't have much experience with dentists, this will be my first time handling things on my own.

As for school...well I have a meeting with the registrar this week to see what my options are. At this point I am trying to remain objective but easier said than done.

Rindy, we live in the country. No kids come around. We have the perfect woods to have a campfire and tell ghost stories though. Oh to be a kid again.

We are just on the county side of the road. The otherside is city but hasn't been developed yet (corn fields). We are just enough in the country to have my horse and close enough to the city Wal-Mart is less than a 5 minute drive. Close enough to everything but far enough from everything.
