Hang in there Sweetie!

If you've already discussed it, them maybe it's time to say you're sorry they are upset with you, but you did what you felt you needed to and it is now time to get back to work and move on.

People seem to need something and someone to talk about. It will die down. Don't let it get to you and make you sick.

Remember we love you. smile.gif

I'll hold on to your faith in me.
Tuesday is going to be hard.
I'm sitting here playing on computer and watching old Star Trek's and being quiet and not moving around alot to keep Migraines from coming back.
Later today I've got to go install new cabinets in the front of salon and take out old one.

Sounds like your week was worse than mine! My office assistant quit without notice just before my movie shoot... so I empathize about the employee problems.

God bless you and your family. Dealing with the miscarriage must be difficult.

Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow
Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

Oh Silverdragon, I know what you mean! Stress stress and more stress!
My assistant manager keeps asking me if I've started having chest pains again. I was having chest pains last Friday when this terrible episode happened.

Last time something bad happened in the salon 5 years ago I had 2 stress related heart attackes. Didn't injure my heart but Dr said get rid of all stress and change your life...
I hope you get a better assistant soon. I know you must rely on them terribly. I hope we both have better days ahead of us soon. Good to see you posting more. you are missed when you don't.

It seems to me that you need to give your assistant more responsibilities. I think what you did was correct. I don't know how you run your salon but up here if you're the boss that's the end of it. People either deal with it or they get fired. If you talked about to everyone then you need to tell them either deal with it or find another job. If they don't understand the situation the way you explained it they aren't the type of people you want working for you.

Of course this is just my opinion and the way that I will run my salon once I get it up and going. I'm not the one to take crap from my employees. I give respect when they give me respect.

Hang in there. It can only get better. Take lots of naps for the migraines. My come less frequently now if I meditate and do my breathing techniques.

Chin up and we here at CelticRadio will be your support group.

Problem is, she was a darn fine assistant -- it's the luck of the draw, since I hire students on work-study (I teach community college) and Bonnie showed up for nearly three semesters and was easy to communicate with and very organized. But she found a job in journalism, her major... and dissappeared, sending me an email at 11pm when she was due to show up at noon next day. GRRR. Just what I did not need the week I was shooting.

BUt, I've put in a request for another assistant, and I'm resigning from one of my committees, and I'll just do what I can. Some things take priority, and others will slide.

Take care of yourself, sweetie; I have a friend who has those debilitating migraines. Not fun.

Liriel you and Silverdragon I greatly appreciate your posting. I get down when I have to deal with these girls...they don't say what they think and they keep you on edge all of the time. I've told myself if I lost all but one I'd still be fine.
It just puts me so under staffed and at a loss to get everything done each day.
Very frustrating!

Hang in there, sweetie! Just remember, everything is temporary. You've got a hug waiting right here when you need it.

Annabelle,

Has work been better now? Just wanted to see if you needed anything. I've got big ears to listen with.

Liriel nope things aren't any better but I'm better. Can you come to the Bethlehem Festival in Sept with me? There are going to be a couple of others coming so you'll have to put up with the trouble makers. Not me! ha ha

Just because Eamon and I are starting the day at the Bethlehem Brew Works, doesn't mean we are trouble makers. Just thirsty!!! beer_mug.gif beer_mug.gif
