The Wisconsin Highland Games draw nigh!

They begin with the Opening Ceremonies and ceilidh Friday night, Sept. 5th, and the Games themselves are on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6th and 7th.

We've got a great music lineup, with our headliner Seven Nations playing Sunday night starting at 6:25.

The other bands all play at least twice during the weekend. Atlantic Wave kicks it off Friday night from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in the Arena following the Opening Ceremonies (and play again Saturday at the Pub Tent).

Mother Grove, the Sandcarvers, Steel Bonnets, and 3 Pints Gone play both Saturday and Sunday at St. Andrew's Pub Tent!

Check out the Games Guide: http://www.wisconsinscottish.org/games_guide_2008.php for info on advance tickets ($5 -- a savings of $3), and all the great stuff to see and do at the Games!

Anticipation of the Games has gotten me through a difficult week. Looking forward to the Massed Bands on Saturday -- they took my breath away last year! It'll also be a treat to see Atlantic Wave again, and I confess, the battle-axe throwing was a great stress reliever **chuckle**

The Wisconsin Highland Games will live long and happily in my memory for one more thing: the best, biggest, and most delicious bag of kettle corn I have ever tasted biggrin.gif
