I just had to post something to get off of that suspiciously beastly number this one makes 667 wink.gif

Hehe, well keep posting and get as far away from that number as possible. Isn't it interesting just how many things we get programed with? That number would have never ment anything to us if nobody said or explained it's meaning to us.

Funny thoughts. wink.gif

I know a lot of buildings avoid using the 13 as a floor number. I wonder if any avoid using 666 as a room or suite number. I would!

I had a customer one time where his car's repair bill was $1666.00, he bought a spare bulb for his car, just to get it off the number laugh.gif

There's a rural route in southwestern VA Rt. 666. I've never even DRIVEN on it, much less wanted to live there!

I can uncerstand Raven's feelings about the number. I stay far away from that number too.
One We bought carpet and the total came to $666.97. I told the guy to round it up to $667.00 cause I was uncomfortable with the 666 number....
supersticious? I don't know? Uncomfortable with 666, yes!

$666 is a decent day's wages. biggrin.gif The Buddhist community isn't hung up on numbers. I DID enjoy Heinlein's book "The Number of the Beast".

As a pot-smoking young man I used to listen to some fantastically wild music (compared to now) and I remember Iron Maiden- note.gif "666....The number of the Beast" note.gif I would get stoned and sing right along with that song, never giving thought to it's meaning. Some like to revel in their immunity to such things, but to those of us who believe what the Bible says about this number, we naturally associate it with what is written. Faith and conviction makes us aware, not paranoid or supersticious. I've never read anything in the Bible about black cats, walking under ladders, broken mirrors, etc., but I have read about 666. I avoid it like the plague.

666 is a number that I will find a way not to use. When I went to get a new license plate for my car and they handed me one with 666 on it, I refused to take it. They agreed and gave me another one. And when my purchase came up to $6.66, the cashier took off a cent and made it $6.65 (her idea). I would have bought something else to change the amount if she hadn't volunteered.
