Come Joust For the Fun of It! Hear ye, Hear ye, the legendary King Arthur and his Knights of the Roundtable are coming to Beaver Dam?s Dodge County Fairgrounds on October 1st and 2nd to attend the Second Annual CAMELOT MEDIEVAL HARVEST FAIRE.
Beginning at 10 am and running through 6 pm each day, visitors to the faire will be treated to music, dance, food, fun, an actual Highland Games competition, and a Real, Full Impact Jousting ?Tournament?, provided by the world renowned jousting troupe, The King?s Champions.
The joust will pit Wisconsin?s own 2000 World Jousting Champion, Lloyd Clark, jousting for the final time in his 24-year career, against Four Time Women?s World Champion, Cassandra Adams of the Netherlands.
The faire will be fully family-friendly and will provide plenty of medieval merriment, living history, and fun for the whole family.
The Camelot Medieval Harvest Faire will be the third major fundraiser for the Historic Camelot Project. The Historic Camelot Project is a non-profit educational organization that is seeking to build a recreation of a ?medieval? village as a living history museum in Dodge County. The ?Village?, as project members call it, will allow many thousands of Wisconsin school children and adults, to experience the daily life of Britons from the early 5th Century to the 14th. The children, and adults as well, will learn about how our ancestors lived firsthand, in order to foster a greater appreciation and love of history. The Village will be the only one of its kind in the Midwest and will offer both education and entertainment to visitors.
Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, $4 for children 5 ? 12, under 5 are free. There is a fee of $2 per car for parking.

Lloyd this sounds like terrific fun, I wish I could come to it! But alas I am not able to but hope to see pictures of your faire!! So you are ending your career? Twenty-four years is a long time! Congrats to you!! But think I must agree with dundee...do please stay on the horse...but at the same time...don't hurt the other champ - Cassandra!
