Go to Google Maps, click on click on "Get Directions", input your address in North America and Edinburgh, UK as a destination, and study the driving directions carefully.

I don't know what's worse - the long swim or trying to figure out all the toll roads!

"If a man has found nothing he's willing to die for, he is not ready to live"

DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH.
General George S. Patton

Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

easier on the body, too. I'd never make it--I don't swim well at all. Maybe I could find a boat.

only 14 hrs and 54 min and I won't even get my feet wet - since I am now in Germany.

Otherwise it would have been quite a difference. LOL

But I think it's funny that they actually say to swim over the Atlantic. laugh.gif
