"Now here's my secret", said the fox, "it is very simple. It is only with ones heart that one can see clearly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."

"The soul would have no rainbow, if the eye had no tears." (Native American Proverb)
Happy Birthday to all you in January! My very best to all you!
DJ, I am so sorry for what all you are going through at this time. Through all this difficult time I pray that you have a most blessed year.
Celtic Rose, thank you for your kind words. I seem to be in a testing mode right now. My best friend, Doris Smith, was diagnose with Autoimmune disease on my birthday, the 11th. Now, I do not feel sorry for myself, but I am struggling with the reason so many of my family and friends are going down. Last March 2007 a close family friend passed with leukemia, 4 months from diagnoses. Last August 2007 our neighbor passed with colon cancer, again lived 6 months from diagnoses.
I know I need to ask for strength and prayers in Kirk and Chapel, but every time I try it sound like I am feeling sorry for myself. Sometimes I feel like the angel of death, as I have spent my life burying my family and now my friends are passing. I can only assume the Good Lord has something in mind for me, sure wish he would at least give me a clue. Lynn and I do hope to see you at the Feb. gathering. Love ya' kid.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINA SCOTSMAN!!!! I hope you have a good one.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAIRI!!!! I hope you have a good one.

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
Thank you Rindy, Val and Lady of the Loch for the good wishes. And Lisa, you make sure you have a great Birthday too. It's such a great day for a birthday, they made it a national holiday. (well, the first Monday after, or some such rig-a-marole)
May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
