Been to Victoria Island in British Columbia but want to make the trip to Nova Scotia where alot of the Scottish settled there...anyone ever been up there? Annabelle
That's where I come from. I lived there for 21 years, and plan on moving back there before our first is in school. There really is no place quite like it. I always said, if you want to see the Celtic illes but can't aford the trip accross the pond, go to New Scotland. It's the next best thing.
By the way, Nova Scotia is what I'm refering to when I say New Scotland.

Went on one of the best boating trips I have ever been onin Victoria Island in this case orca spotting.
You've done just an awesome job with the site!! Thank ye so much!!
I too was one of those people becoming ever more disenchanted with mainstream radio stations. When I came upon Celtic Radio on the net one day....well, let me tell ye this was one happy lass!!
I have to agree, Nova Scotia is beautiful in so many ways. I've spent time there and in Victoria, BC. M'home now is the prairies....but, if I had my choice it would be back to Nova Scotia with me.

And we'd me more than happy to have you.
All this talk is making me homesick though. And that's dangerous.

thanks for this music--i have an AM/FM radio in my room that i dont think i've used since i became a member. not only does no station even attempt this music, but they have these commercial things that really get in the way--thanks for this!
i am proselytizing it to my roommate--i play it loudly when he is around. i've got him to admit that it's "not bad." yes!
.....now that has made my day....thank ye m'friend.
~sighs~....aye, I hear ye on missing New Scotland. I'm land-locked in the province next to ye. We'll just have to listen to more Celtic Radio!
I realised today that I haven't listened to any CD's or other radio stations on my work pc and home pc since I joined this place. The only other station I listen to is the one in my car.
I do have a complaint though. You guys who are requesting music, you've got to expand your list of songs that you'll pick. It seems every time I turn the radio on I hear the same 20 or so songs over and over with the occasional deviation.
