I'll have to listen on Friday and Saturday nights more often. I love pub-type music, don't get to hear it enough.

Also dig how the stream now tells you what's playing. Didn't used to. Now, if I could just rename the stream and not have it get reset all the time...

Our pub music selections is actually a real fun time to listen. What we have been doing for the last 3 years is to catagorize music and we have actually built up a very nice selection and cross range of all types of pub music.

My favorite, although a bit on the hard side, is drop kick murphys which we just added a bunch of tracks - not everything, but selection tracks. They are actually a band out of Boston which really has a hard Celtic rock sound.

Not sure about the drop streams. Sometimes internet radio can be funny. I actually don't listen during the Monday through Friday workday, but on weekends and nights I don't have a problem with drops.

Dropped streams? Not sure what you mean, I almost never get dropped from the stream. I've just noticed that, despite naming the stream 'Highlander Radio' instead of the bleedin' long description it has by default, it gets reset to default about every time I load it. The one thing I did like is that, during the time the stream name had a holiday theme, it would tell you what song was playing. Doesn't seem to do that anymore. Odd. (using iTunes under WinXP Pro, meself).

Dropkick Murphy's is definitely enjoyable, but I'm more a fan of Flogging Molly, since they're a bit more traditional and aren't nearly as hard-sounding. Drunken Lullabies is an excellent album.

Still and all, the pub music on Friday and Saturday nights is definitely fun. Were they running it this week? I listened for a bit on Friday, but didn't hear it. On the other hand, I may hve been listening too early for it.
