'ello everyone here at Highlander!
Now with the holidays in the past we are back in cd mode. Fourteen of the fifteen tracks are mixed completely and ready to go. We should have the final song mixed this weekend. ( If all goes as planned)
The cd package itself is in development, and we will hopefully have a look at the final layout in a couple weeks. Then it is off to the printers! The company we were going to use to put the cd together has raised its rates, which has forced us to look at alternate companies to replecate for us.~( Which is part of the reason this is taking so long)
If things go as we are hoping and no major complications arise we are looking at releasing 'Beyond Tradition' in Spring. ( I'm personally shooting for St. Patrick's Day~ I'm keeping my fingers crossed)
But in the meantime I can show you the cover art for 'Beyond Tradition' and if you would like to hear a few tracks you can visit www.myspace.com/barddas. So, if you have time stop by say hi and leave us a comment.

Thanks again to all of my( our) friends here at Highlander....

The cover's color scheme is nice, but what is that figure standing there? Is it a scarecrow?
It's a 'Wicker Man'. Ceasar wrote of these in his journal's. That the Gaul's ( Celts of modern day France) used huge woven wicker shaped men in the use of sacrife. Putting animals and humans both insode the Wicker man and setting it a blaze.
