Right now I am updating my profile on here, adding a pic to it, and then seing about doing some posting

Just hanging around right now. Will be going to bed in about a half hour or so. Funny, I always thought going home at the crack of dawn meant you had a good night on the town .

Im sitting in fornt of my tv drinking coffe.Also chatting with my friends:D writting some letters and poems

Working on a marketing document that explains the difference between our software and our competitor's, without actually accusing them of eating small children. . . tough work!

Killing a few minutes before going out to mow the lawn! BLECH!

Just came in from work, checking the forums before I go to bed to get up in five hours and go to work. Hey Allen, don't kill those minutes, savor them, even the ones when your mowing the lawn.

Today is the "official" start of the annual 450 mile yard sale, thru the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, parts of Georgia and Alabama. I am waiting patiently for my husband to get ready so we can be off. Always lots of neat things to be found! It runs for the next week and I plan on enjoying every day!!!!

I am perusing the site! LOL! Looking for people to chat with even though it is the wee hours of the morn here! !

I got home from work about an hour ago. I was so hungry when I got off work, I stopped at a local diner and had the best Belgian waffle I've ever had. Pretty soon, I'm going to hit the shower and go to bed.

Well, at 6 in the morning I told my best friend goodbye as he got on a plane bound for Flordia, he came home for 3 weeks on leave from the military and will go on call for the Middle East on Sept. 1. Then I found out my other best friends Dad fell from a ladder that was 6 stories high so he is in the hospital, and I just got home from seeing him for her since is all the way in Italy for the Navy. Now I'm waiting for 4 to come so I can go fishing with my da.

I am sitting here posting and waiting for hubby to bring home something to eat! Yay!

I'm working for the Chicago Transit Authority (the City of Chicago's public transportation system). I'm working in their rail division as a car servicer, which basically means I go in and clean the interior of the trains. This past week was my training period. I was working nights at their largest facility, which was a 1 1/2 hour train ride away. Luckily, my permanent assignment will be closer and have normal hours. A nice fringe benefit is that if I have my ID, I can ride the CTA buses & trains and certain Pace buses (the suburban Chicago bus system) for free.

Wow! Mike! Sounds like a really nice job and like the benefits too! Do you like the job itself?

Whenever I go to Los Angeles, and I will be there next week, I take the Metro train. Funny thing is is that they charge us money to go on there, but nobody ever checks our money stubs. I wonder how many people are getting on that train and not paying now? LOL

Just got off work (long day)
me and MM are best friends and relaxing for a few minutes
Have to work tomorrow at the hospital so I'd better enjoy my time off!

The CTA is on a farecard system. They have these farecard vending machines at the rail stations and all the chain supermarkets in the Chicago area. You can purchase the farecard, check the balance, and add to it if necessary. You insert it into a slot on the bus farebox or train station turnstile and the amount is deducted automatically.
