| I've certainly been enjoying the music on HR surrounding the theme "a Celtic Christmas". I began thinking about what that term meant, given that Scotland (sure, only one of the celtic nations) has historically ignored Christmas, preferring to focus its celebrations around Hogmanay, what is a Celtic Christmas? What are it's roots and what does it mean (to you)? While I've never been one for trees and santas, I have to rejoice in that this is one time of year where the Name of Christ can be spoken of with less grief from the atheist clan. Let us hope we can show such that Christ Jesus is no longer a harmless baby in a manger but now reigns in Heaven as King of Kings and will soon come to judge the nations. Just a few Christmas thoughts.. |
