The first couple days I listened to Highlander Radio, I heard some songs that I really liked. One of those songs was a Riverdance song, but I can't seem to find it again. I thought I wrote down what I needed to find it again, but it seems as though I was wrong.

The song is basically just the sounds of the dancer's feet. I loved it so much because I was in Marching Band for many years, and it sounded just like a drum solo, only with feet. smile.gif I thought for some reason that it was the Title Track to the Riverdance album, but that's not it. Does anyone have any idea what track I'm looking for? I'd like to buy this CD, but I want to make sure that specific song is on there. Thanx!

-Chris

I don't think it's on any of the actual "Riverdance" CD's. Or at least, I haven't been able to find it. I have the Video at work, so I'll check it tonight to see what that set is called, and let ya know. smile.gif

But isn't it safe to assume that if he heard it here on Highlander Radio, that it's on a CD somewhere?

I'm doing some investigating myself.

I know it's on a CD somewhere, but I'm not sure where. I remember in the show they were saying something about "Thunder and Lightning" and it was thundering and stuff. Then they said something like "we are strong and we will not go down!". It's a step-dance line of all guys who dance in hard shoes. It's VERY cool. biggrin.gif I even have a copy of it on a CD, but it was a boot-leg copy, so I have no idea what it was called unsure.gif .

Right, I think Irish Stepper was saying that it's not on the original "Riverdance" CD's. Today, I found a neat one with some music in the background, but I don't think it was the one that I heard before. And it wasn't on an official Riverdance CD. It was on some compilation.

Thanx for your help everyone. smile.gif I was trying to get my wife to listen to it, but I can't find it to request it for her. smile.gif

Well, on the video it's called "Thunderstorm", but I can't find it here in Highlander Radio. I'm not sure what else to try... unsure.gif

Sounds like what the dance segment of Reel Around the Sun did to me. After hearing the CD the first time I spent a couple days trying to figure out what track had that segment on it. Finally found it.

I just requested it, but it looks like you may have done the same. Looks like it's going to play twice. smile.gif I'm curious what this song sounds like.

I did. smile.gif

Actually, it turns out, I might not be able to listen to the one I requested, as I have to train someone how to use their laptop. smile.gif So I will be able to listen to one of them, hopefully!
