Whooaa!! Let me correct all this ! The sweet wifey and I HAVE NOT had a new one! The post I made included a post by the parents of Esther Joy Travis, the little girl who has been so sick. So, thanks for the congrats, but I think we are out of the baby business! |

Hey Rindy, no problem! I thought it was hilarious! I have a son-in-law who upon occasion takes a look at this site. I think it would have been a hoot for him to see this! Much as we love children (of course, we had seven) I think I leave it up to my kids now to bring us some more grandkids! All the blessings of our own children without the maintenance costs ! Have a great day! |

I was sort of assuming that it was another grandkid of yours, Mark, but you know what? Another baby safely born into the world, with good conditions, enough to eat, people around who love him and know how to take care of him -- that's good enough for me to celebrate. |

Well said stoirmeil. Wonder what the average cost of raising a child is. Times that by 7 and wow that's a sum of serious cash and emotion. I think haynes needs a Father of the year award! What a Dad!!! "I'm so glad I didn't have someone dead!" Slainte |

The wife and I were informed last week that we will be grandparents again in October. Supposed to be a boy this time. Not really sure I like this knowing before they get here, but it DOES let me get the right clothes and toys! And Hailey is doing great, but is headed into the terrible 2s a few months early! |

That's great news Dogshirt I agree with you. It kind of takes the fun out of it all but like you say at least you can plan that way. Again CONGRATULATIONS! "Will you remind me when your grandson comes in October and you might say grandson in big letters so I don't mess it up" Slainte |

That's great! All best for a safe, healthy summer and fall for mommy and child. It'll be fun to see how Otto takes to a new baby. How does he get on with Hailey? |

Oh, he likes Hailey a lot! But he jumps up on her and knocks her down and washes her face, and she HATES having her face washed, even by Mom or Grandma! She gets up and waves her hand at him and yells "O'o!!!!" But it's okay if he washes her hand, she thinks that's fun. |
