I'm very new here and not sure if I'm doing this right but would like to write some of my poems and also read others that have anything to do with the seasons of the year and what they mean to you. This can be anything from actual descriptions of the seasons to a mood they instill in your soul. They don't actually have to mention a season, just give a feeling that relates to one. I'll start it off with one that I wrote that speaks of the water aspect of spring. I hope others will share their poems as well. Thanks.

Song of the Water
by Carrie Wolfsong ©

Drop by drop I build the sea
Oceans wide and rivers free
Lakes and ponds to feed the masses
Winged and furred and trees and grasses.
I was here before the dawn
Birthed from the void
and then beyond
Touch me now and you shall see
The power deep inside of me.

Here's a Summer poem:

Litha
by Carrie Wolfsong ©

Hear the song the faerie sings
Mists of ponds and mushroom rings
Walk the path they set you on
From moonlit dusk to smoky dawn,
Then you might know the secrets told
To whisper clear from lips grown old
Of magic lights and crimson skies
And winds of purple leafy sighs
Of fire dances in the night
That cannot end till morning light;
Come take my hand this summer day
And we will travel far away
Where elfish music fills the air
Where life is lived without a care
And you and I can sleep till noon
After dancing sky clad under the moon.
