Just started Geocaching. I had never even heard of it until a couple of weeks ago and now I'm hooked. Silly fun, like going on a huge scavenger hunt. The caches are EVERYWHERE! What is geocaching? http://www.geocaching.com/ "Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location." |

Wow, this would make a great Celtic Radio contest. Not sure what the treasure could be! |

I've been Geocaching for about a year now although I've known about it for about 5 years. I'm up to just over 100 found and still going. My http://www.geocaching.com name is DirtyTusken. |

Now I have some idea what my dad had been up to for the last few years. I found stuff labeled Geocaching while cleaning up his computer and had no idea what it was for. He called it treasure hunting. |

The pirate in me prefers to call it treasure hunting also. |

I haven't done much hunting, but it is fun! I'd like to do more hunting - they are everywhere! I live in the sticks and there are over 100 nearby! |

Most of my finds have been in a 10 mile radius of where I live. This year our local parks department set up 100 hides to celebrate their 100 year anniversary. It's been kinda fun to find all the parks and I now carry around extra bottles and logs with me in case I want to hide one or replace one that has gone missing. Since work has been slow I've had a lot of free time and little money so Geocaching is a perfect hobby. |
