DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH. General George S. Patton
Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
I wanted to thank you all for your prayers and support. It's been hard this past month. I miss her everyday. But I know with out a shadow of a dought that I'll see her again someday. She was a wonderful woman. She's the one who told me about Jesus when I was small. I got the chance the last time I was her, to thank her for that. I want to share with you what the preacher read at her grave site:
A Hopi Prayer by Mary E. Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there; I did not die.
Isn't that beautiful? Now everytime it rains I think of Mom.
If you were wondering which one it the picture is me, I'm the one standing between my brothers. Once again, thank you for your prays. I love all of you. I've always thought of you as part of my family. God Bless ! ! ! ! !

Glenda. With alls these prayers pleading your case, God already has blessed you. I hope your family will have comfort in knowing Jesus died 2000 years ago so we don't have to greave anymore. Your Mom got the ultimate healing going to be with the Lord. God bless you!

Thanks Nova Scotian, I am blessed. God is so good. I know that Jesus died so we might live, in Him. That is my comfort, knowing where Mom is and knowing that I KNOW I'll see her again. I do miss her and each day it gets better. I rejoice in knowing that she is with Jesus! John, thanks you also. Went to see my dad this past weekend. He's not doing so good, he's on O2, and will be for the rest of his life. He has what they call Farmers Lung. It's making him week and he's by himself, he so afraid he'll fall and have no one there so he's asked me to come home and take care of him. It couldn't have happened at a better time. I'm in a dead end job. It feels right and I think this is something my mom would want me to do. It means I'll reconnect with old friends and I get to go back to church I grew up in. God is wonderful!!! I truly believe that if we will waite on Him, no matter how long it may take, He always takes care of His children!!!!
