It seems to me that if you have any celtic blood in you at all then you love to dream! My dream job would have to be a Bridal consultant and Event planner, about 6 months ago, I just decided to start advertising my talents with a business card and now I'm working on a website. When I get it launched I'll let you guys see it and if anyone is getting married, I am more than willing to travel!!!! ....about the post, it sounds like a fantastic Idea, I think it would give a forum for all parents to converse not just single parents and it would teach us who are pet parents how to prepare for child parenting!
Hey sis, it was a good idea to start this thread again...
Now as for a dream job...well, actually there really is a DREAM or better said two of them. One is to be a writer with enough time to do so...and wee bit success might be very appreciated, too! Another dream is working in the field of a nonmedical practitioner which is a very dear dream to me...though I'm already of "matured" age I don't think it was too late at all to work on this dream. Now, as my sons are growing up (15 and 19) I will have more time to work on my own life again. So we will see...
Nothing bad at all with a single Mom's thread...I hear you, susieq...
And last but not least....Johnny Depp...no question!!

Mmmmmmmmm, my dream job, huh? Well, I am a confessed history nerd, and I love to read. I would love to get paid to just sit in a library or museum and read historical texts, whether by modern authors or my the people themselves.
And, umm, of course, , I wouldn't turn down a job as a chocolate taster, either.
OOooooo Johnny Depp!!!! But I think it's a look-a-like in the video. Anyone know for sure?
Dream job? To not have to work.
Color my hair! Sister A!! How could you even suggest such a thing!!! My roots naturally lighten every month until I get around to putting that 'conditioner' on it.
Parenting? Duct tape. What I hate is in all those childbirth classes and books they never tell you what you really need is a black and white striped shirt and a whistle. I spend my life being a referee.
Why don't we plan a girls night out? We all bring blenders and fixing for our favorite drinks and sleeping bags. And if any of us snore, we politely pretend we didn't notice.

Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. - Frederick Buechner
If society prospers at the expense of the intangibles, how can it be called progress?
Hair color? Johnny Depp? Parenthood? Next thing you be talking about is the toilet seat issue. I'll tell you a secret ladies, we'd (men) be lost without them.
Ok Annabelle, I wont peek anymore

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him keep pace with the music he hears, however measured or far away. -Henry David Thoreau
Pray as if everything depended on God, and work as if everything depended upon man. - Cardinal Francis J. Spellman
Sorry to disappoint you gals, that was the video producer that portrayed JD on Terri Clark's music video. Shucks, I just burst my own bubble! JD is certainly a hunk! I don't watch a lot of country music videos, I was flipping thru the channels one day and it was playing and caught my eye. I got a laugh out of it, especially at the end of the video!
Oh, come on now, Cori! We just like to have a little fun every once in a while! Don't tell me you never spied on the boys! Not even once! HMMM? Come on now, be honest...
