Hi Catriona! I live in the States and know almost nothing about Cornwall! It was the setting for a book I read once, The Little Country by Charles DeLint, but that's the extnet of my knowledge. Could you post some info for us? I for one would love to learn more about it!

(And thanks for the comments you posted about what I posted in Galicia and Brittany!)

In the summer of 2002 I was in Cornwall
(I life in Switzerland, so it was a long journey)
It's a great place. I love it. We visited some of the mystic places and had a look to the cornish culture. It was great.

Does any one of you know how Cornwall looks like in wintertime?

Cornwall can be very boring, dead, and dark in the winter. It can get quite depressing actually. Its ok on the warmer days, and the upside is, there's no ignorant emmits around to be pesky.

Going to the beach in the winter can also be nice, sitting in the campervan and watching the surfers. The surf is great in winter!!

On top of that, a couple of winters ago, we got snowed in at school! They had to air in helicopters with food and stuff. I had to stay until my dad picked me up at about seven. Some of my friends were picked up in a tracter. Anyway, it was quite annoying.

Generally though, it doens't snow in cornwall.
