Is there any interest left in the "Scottish Recipes " forum?
Are we just wasting server space?
There have been very few posts here, besides mine in a long time...
Do you want to see this forum continue?

Why would you not? It's an integral part of the Celtic culture that others down the line should be able to enjoy as well. Just because it's not active doesn't mean it's not being used, or won't be used later on.
I think I'd have to agree with that, Shadows. Every time a new member comes into the forum and scopes the recipes, it makes the whole good and friendly impression of the site stronger. There really is an amazing amount of stuff here.
Agreed, this is a major forum and its why it has a listing at the top. I think this is a great forum and people I am sure, while not posting, are definitely taking the recipes!
OK -- I have an idea that might be totally impractical, but I would be happy to work with it. How about a little team of regular devotees going through the recipes (all of them, or only the celtic ones, whatever you think best) and selecting what we think is the very best, and using only kitchen-tested ones; then putting it together as an e-cookbook in some very simple format and having it as one of the possible prizes for the site contests, or even a welcome gift for new subscribing members, if Paul likes the idea. That would get some attention. There could even be little essays inside for using herbs, or traditional cooking methods, anything unusual.

I already have this project started with the contest recipes from the past few years for the regular recipe site, you want to give it a try here in the Scottish recipe forum?
