Alot of people are watching the news and how the story is unfolding here in America about the Rock Star "Michael Jackson". Since he's been brought up on Sexual Abuse Charges there have been news press stories about Case Workers interviewing him for info about his home life.

What do you think about his case?
Do you think he's guilty or not guilty?
What do you think from what you've seen in the newspapers?

I think he should be hung in a public square by his thumbs and his scrotum used as a pinyata ( SPELL ) !

He should have been put away when the earlier alagations were made and definatly when he hung his child over the balcony!!!

He is a freak of his own making and needs to get some serious mental help!

BUT BEING RICH HE WILL GET AWAY WITH WHATEVER, AS ALL THE RICH FOLK DO!

I have to agree with Shadows. This is not the first or even the second time this has happen, and it seems that his money always gets him out of trouble. What do you think would happen if he didn't have so much money, He would be like me and you and end up with life in prison. And as for his story of police abuse, I don't think so. Everything in a jail is video taped. From the time you inter the jail, and though the intake and bookin process all the way too when someone is put in general population or bookout process, you are being video taped. You may or may not see the cameras, but they are there. This is for everyones safety. and these tapes are on record. These are kept usually for 30 days, depend on that jails policy. I do this for a living, I know how jails work and his story won't hold up.

I'm with both of you...this isn't the first time he is accused of abuse of children - to my mind a crime even more serious and disgusting than murder. It murders a kid's soul...
This man is sick. Romantisizing himself as a modern "Peter Pan" - no!
He's guilty and I HOPE his money won't help him out this time - but I'm afraid it might...

Anyone else doing the stuff he has done would have been locked up long ago--At best, he is too mentally ill to be allowed outside a locked institution. If he's not mentally ill, he's a depraved criminal who needs to be locked up.
Being a rich entertainer should not excuse his behavior; unfortunately, in our celebrity-mad culture, he may well beat the charges, and continue to be allowed to prey on children.

That's why they passed a law requiring children who come forward to testify. They can supoena them now for testifying on criminal charges, regardless of any pay offs. They passed that law as a result of the last time where he payed the boy off to not testify.

what do I think of the case or the media-hype?

Media-hype disgusts me.. he's in public light, but what about the likes of Marc Dutroux, child-porn rings??

He fits so much into the actual pathological picture of the child-abuser... I can't believe they let him off last time.

A child-abuser will always think what s/he does is right, s/he will not see any bad thing in what they are doing. Yes, women fall into that category as well, and they are far crueller than men are.
They will think that what they do is good for the child. And when you take MJ's testimony's into account he definitly falls into that category.

How can you make a verdict without even first hearing all the case and the evidence? Problem is there is a media circus surrounding this and so much for a fair trial because people have made up their mind damn the facts and evidence in the case. sad.gif
