Hi John! Until they moved last year, my younger son and his wife lived in Salem and worked in Beverly. This place has fantastic music and some of the nicest folks I've met on the web. Welcome, pull up a chair, stretch out and relax.

Hi and welcome, John!
You're in one of my favorite cities - my wife and I lived there during the time I was chasing my "grad rat" at MIT! That was over 22 years ago and even though I love Boston, I don't like thinking of the cold winters we had and the frozen-shut car doors in the morning!! Makes getting to work a real challenge...
Anyway, I'm glad you found the site and know that you'll really like the people, the music and the very interesting forums. I look forward to reading more of your posts and might one day meet you in person - we get to venture back east once every other year or so for a refresher class or conference.
Welcome, John! Take your coat off, grab a refreshing beverage, and join in the conversation.
I take it, by your screen name, that you appreciate the "fine malt lyrics" of House of Pain.
