Twinings teas are slightly more expensive than most, even here in the UK, but they are much better than most other brands I've tried.
Orange Pekoe is a chinese style tea - but very refreshing on a hot day! I don't like iced tea at all, so I go for lighter blends like OP in the summer.
yeah i like tea at times as well (its better in the evening, especially when the thermostats not working right brrrr, next to uisge beatha lol). but besides all these posh brands (lipton, twinings, earl grey ...) i finally found out that theres only one real tea: guess what - Scottish Blend

I'm a coffee person. Tea just ain't my cup of tea.

Talking about tea. Anybody remember getting/ collecting cards from the tea boxes. I think it was Brooke Bond tea. You used to get fitba players, cricket players, birds, ships, cars, etc.
I for one would like to see them bring this back. I always looked forward to getting the cards and putting them in the collectors book you had to send away for. It was always a fight with my two brothers to see who would get the card.
For the record...I'm a plain Orange Pekoe man myself.

In fact, about 10 years ago it was a great craze here to have original sets made up from those sticker album hingmies and put them in a beautiful frame... Some of the sets are worth a lot of money nowadays!
You should have held onto the collections - probably enough to pay your airfare fur a trip haim

I had a full collection of famous cricketers, (for some reason). I bet that would have looked nice in a frame. probably worth a few bob as you say.
Do they still have the PG Tips adverts on the tv, with the monkeys? They were always a laugh.
Yah we know your cup of tea, is that funky Millwalki beer.
You mean the bargain-basement old men's beers like Schlitz, Old Milwaukee and Coors? Ewwwwwwww! I lump them in with another one and call them "Milwaukee's Worst". It's only Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft, Michelob Golden Draft, Corona (w/lime), Molson, Moosehead, or a couple of microbrews available in the Midwest, Berghoff and Point Special, for me.
Joe To be honest, I don't know about the chimps - don't get much chance to watch TV and when I do, I tend to use the programme breaks as an excuse to finish reading the paper which has often sat, unopened, since first thing in the morning! I carry it to work in my briefcase, unopened, work through lunch, leaving it unopened and carry it home.... UNOPENED!
Back on topic, I think I read a while ago that they were not going to make any more chimp ads, the company felt it was time for a change - and as those chimp family ads have been on TV since ah wis a lassie, they ur ANCIENT!
You've got to take a break, and don't give me easier said than done. The whole world is not going to stop if you take half an hour to read the newspaper, especially on your lunch break. Anyway, lecture over.
I know this is about tea, but tell me this. My grannie, instead of coffee, would give us Camps Chickory Essence. Do they still sell that stuff over there?
