| Since "robo filings" were halted last year due to foreclosure errors, the mortgages have been researched and the foreclosures will begin again at the end of Jan. or beginning of Feb. and will likely exceed any year since 2008. Hopefully banks will be better positioned to deal with the losses though private information indicates many are not. My old bank which now I now use only for a few direct pays and which always has a low balance may have already hit the rocks (been sold out). I was there to pick up a new card and deposit money for the next 30 days payments. All of the old faces were gone. the old officers and tellers were there a month ago. In the past that has always proved to be an ill omen when it involved financial institutions. Slàinte, Patch |
