Well if what I have heard is true one guy will be getting all the profits. From stories I have heard Bush plans on helping to rebuild Iraq but then make the Iraqis pay that back through oil. So you do the math seems they'll still be working for one guy building palaces just not in their own country!

As I said at the beginning this was a war about oil not freedom. We have our own issues state side to deal with and Bush doesn't want to deal with it so honestly why would he care about another country when he's not even willing to fix the problems at home? ???

Now that we are celebrating our victory, Bush looks like he going to continue his brand of "cowboy politics" on foriegn countries in other areas. For shame!

"Naturally the common people don't want war. . . . But, after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or parliament, or a communist dictatorship. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country."

Herman Goering, (1893-1946) Nazi Reichsmarschall, at the Nuremberg Trials, 4/18/46. From "Nuremberg Diary" by Gustave Gilbert

That first amendment book banning article I posted (Think it's gone to page 2 of this thread as of this posting) seems to be getting some national media coverage because of the implications of it involving Irwin Schiffs first amendment rights to free speech and also of the press

http://www.givemeliberty.org/NoRedre....-03.htm

If this man should have his right to free speech and press taken away what is next? Bush says he's bringing the people of Iraq freedom yet here at home the courts are tempting fate by considering stiffling a mans free speech bacause the IRS & DOJ Simply don't like it. As my latest news update on this mentioned if you remove one book what other books wil also be banned or what other type of free politically motivated speech will be next?  ???

Did you know that The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn is a banned book in many parts of the United States and has been since the day Mark Twain/Samuel Clemmens wrote it? Use any search engine and type "banned books" in the search engine - the results may astound you!

Well the problem with this banning if it is allowed is this is clearly protected speech because it is political speech at it's very basis. If we allow this rogue judge to ban this book this opens up the flood gate for all kinds of banning and censorship on what the government doesn't like.

But as the ACLU stated this is clearly protected speech under the 1st amendment and government cannot do anything to stop this kind of speech otherwise it violates Mr. Schiffs freedom of speech and of the press.

OK it's been some time now since the troops reached Baghdad and for the most part secured a lot of Iraq. So where are the Weapons of Mass Destruction Bush claimed exist? Where are the tons of chemical weapons. Yes they found some but no where near the amounts Bush claimed?  ???

Where are the Iraqis cheering in the streets? Seems I hear more about protests lately ratehr then cheering. ???
