| Fox news just broke the story of a dump of the health records of 300K California residents on the internet for anyone to see. Data included SS#'s, insurance records, diagnosis, medications and more. Some information could jeopardize jobs or job prospects and some would cause embarrassment. I did not hear if this was the work of hackers or an accident. I would guess it was the handiwork of hackers. I use the same security level that banks use but even that is not fool proof. I have no embarrassing ailments and am not in the job market but my information is mine alone and only to be shared if I wish to do so. Slainte, Patch |
