Ok....argh......ah.....ah.....ah.....I can not compose myself.....this is horrible. I wish I was not so broke I would donate to help. I listen to this station when I am at work. It makes the day go so faster. I would never have learned about all these wonderful groups like Barlyjuice and Wicked Tinkers if not for this station.

D--n greedy companies.

It seems to me that Santa is real. He may not be a breathing person, but Santa is indeed real.

Santa is the spirit of the season....now just hold on all of you Christians who are starting to get your knickers in an uproar....Santa is the sprit of the season because this is the season of Peace and love...it does not just belong to Christians...it belongs to Muslims, Jews, Pagans....everyone.

The realness of Santa is spirit...love...belief and magic. How innocent we are when we believe that there is a man in a red suit that comes every Christmas eve. How much have we all changed since Santa ceased to exist in our lives? Are we more cynical? Do we worship the all mighty money more than we experience the magic of belief?

I for one would feel better if I never lost Santa, it is only a cruel person who never gives their child the gift of belief in something so good, and wonderful.

Thanks for the offer. We seem to up to our nickers in West Virginia. My father's family is from Pochahontas County. We were just down there in July for a family reunion - the first one since 1901. For someone from "Flat land" it is wonderful. Even the trip up the mountain on a logging road to the family cemetery was....interesting....at least we didn't die in a fiery ball of flames like I thought we would. biggrin.gif

Again, thanks for help on the Kintyhtt (aka Kinty in modern terms)

I have a name an a half for anyone. Some say that the name is Scots, I have no idea. The family is found in (West) Virginia 1850's to present. It is Kintyhtt. I know of Daniel (Father) - Leroy (Son) - Leovina (daughter). Leroy married Sarah Kuhn in Greene County PA. and Leoviana married Sarah's father Joseph. The Kintyhtt family ended up in WV just south of Greene. If anyone can help me, not only with the family, but the origin of this name, it would be greatly appreciated.

There was a series of movies done quite a few years ago in which they portray Robin Hood as being a chosen one of Hern. Hern plays a big part in those movies.
