The Scots of course insist that the pipes produce music. But the point is after all not too important. For those who love them, the pipes can evoke more vividly than any other instrument, high emotion, they can inspire valor, and tell of tragic tales of battles long ago. They can call forth merriment or sentiment. It does not matter what the sound is called, those who are deaf to its merits would not understand anyway.

"If a man has found nothing he's willing to die for, he is not ready to live"

DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH.
General George S. Patton

Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Two of my favorites:

"Lord, bash brain from heaven!" - self-explanatory
"Listen, in China has farted someone" - if someone try to tell me a bullshit and I'm not interested to listen that.

Usually I use a lot of wordplays, double entendres or distortion of words in German language for a good saying - but if you try to ranslate this, the pointe disappears...

Antonio;

If something goes wrong I usually just say pooh.gif . If someone is in a foul mood I usually ask "Who p---ed in your cornflakes"? If I am really annoyed with some one I tell them to "Eat s--t and die."

Dogshirt;

Once years ago when I was on a service call to a Meat Packing Plant and we were outside having lunch, one of the workers must have been making racy remarks about some women sitting near by because I heard another guy say "Jeez will you get yer Brains outta yer B--ls." I rather liked that one at the time.
