17. Are you asking me for a date? Let's go with a picnic.

Nosey b*****d aren't you?

Not if you're not willing to shell out for a nice dinner.

I think you used the wrong gender here.

Elspeth, if you can talk my wife into a 3-some it's a date. cool.gif

And I apologise if I used the wrong gender. However I refuse to call a lady a b***h.

Picnic! I love to be outside, and its more intimate and gives you time to chat with each other, but that's assuming this isn't a blind date or a internet meeting, if that's the case, then public crowded place is the way to go.

16. What do you want to be doing when you are 90?

Spending christmas with my husband and all my chidlren and grandchildren.

17. For a first date, would you choose a picnic or dinner in a nice restaurant?

Dinner at a nice restaurant. A picnic is almost to intimate for me on a first date.

18. Would you rather soar on high like an eagle or swim the seas like a dolphin?

Soar on high. You can see everything. Ever heard of the song "Free as a bird"?

19. What was your favorite stuffed animal?

My teddy bear named Jo-Jo. DOn't know where it came from. It's gone now, it's heard and arms fell off. But i did love him!

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle
Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the
Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

1 Coffee or tea?

definitely coffee

2 Pictures in wallet?

Just the one that came with the wallet. Some real hottie. I don't know her name, but I call her Lacy. She's nice to look at.

3 Shoes off or on in the house?

OFF! My wife (who's name incidentally is not Lacy) has a cow when anyone wears shoes in the house.

4 Favorite order in restaurant?

Hamburger steak with sauteed mushrooms and fries with brown gravy on both.

5 Favorite season?

Early winter.

6 Read newspaper?

Nope. No point. It just tells you what you missed yesterday.

7 Favorite room in the house?

Bathroom, of course. wink.gif

8 Longest relationship?

My ex-wife. 11 years. But in 4 more years she'll be my ex longer than she was my wife. There is a God.

9 Horse, bike, or motorcycle?

Initially was going to say motorcycle. But I have to admit that now that I'm nearly forty, the prospects of a quiet horse ride seems more appealing than dodging death on two wheels.

10 Board game?

Scrabble

11 Couch, chair, or floor?

Recliner. Oh yea!

12 Truck/Suv?

Kenworth W900L with a 600HP Caterpillar, 4/11 ratio rear ends, and Eaton-Fuller 18 speed transmission.

13 Favorite grade in school.

Sixth. Missed 32 consecutive days due to snow. Also had my first girlfriend, my first chew of tobacco, and hit 3 homeruns in a single game that year.

14 Worst fault?

Little to no empathy skills. I've gotten much better with age though.

15 Best characteristic?

I never panic. No matter what comes my way I try to calculate each situation and remain calm till I figure out the problem.

16 What do you want to be doing when you're 90?

Taking a celestial nap.

17 Picnic or dinner out on first date?

I'm a man, and I make decisions. I wouldn't choose eating for a first date. More like a coffee shop or a drive in the country where we can relax and talk. Then move methodically slow and cautiously from there through the next 50 dates.

18 Soar like Eagles or swim like Dolphins?

Fly, definitely fly.

19 Favorite stuffed animal?

12 point Buck I shot on my first hunt.

The peculiar evil of silencing the expression of an opinion is, that it is robbing the human race; posterity as well as the existing generation; those who dissent from the opinion, still more than those who hold it. If the opinion is right, they are deprived of the opportunity of exchanging error for truth: if wrong, they lose, what is almost as great a benefit, the clearer perception and livelier impression of truth, produced by its collision with error. ~John Stuart Mill, On Liberty, 1859

Education: that which reveals to the wise, and conceals from the stupid, the vast limits of their knowledge.
~Mark Twain
