I usually pay about $14 for a cut. There was one time for a special occasion I decided to splurge and pay $30 at a better salon. It was the best haircut I've ever had.

So is anyone else cursed with naturally curly hair? I know, I know, I should consider myself blessed to have curl in my hair naturally, sleepy.gif but I have the hardest time finding stylists who really know what to do with curly hair. At least when you get a perm all the curls are the same size and curliness, not a really curly top layer and an almost straight layer on the bottom.

Once I had a trade show in NYC , last minute notice and I rushed down there and spent the nite. Next morn got up and went to the hotel barber for a haircut . It was the longest and best haircut I ever had. he snipped and snipped and razored and razored for about an hour, I was the handsomest I have ever been rolleyes.gif . I was done, thanked him and went to pay. I almost fell down , $140.00 for the haircut!!!! I felt cheap giving him a 20 dollar bill for a tip. Never again, but still the best haircut ever..

I once went for a haircut and told them just to take two inches off the length and layer the rest, I wear spectacles so I took my glasses off and she just cut awya, when she was done my hair was cut to right under my ears, and it started out below my shoulders, I was devestated, it started out below my shouders, I was hysterical for days. I don't even like to think about.
