I believe I could even try to make one of these.

It sure would be nice to see and hear the people I have been talking to.

Alas, being so far north, I'd have to decline such a meeting. Unless you're willing to have one in Alberta. laugh.gif

You do realize where this is heading don't you? wink.gif
One day the Scottish bar thread and this one will be combined to form an

Annual Highlander Radio Highland Festival

so that all the people you have brought together through the music can meet and have a great time. laugh.gif

Count me in.. thumbup.gif

Oldraven, I'd be willing to come as far as Owen Sound, if it's during festival time.

Alberta works for me. I've never been there. Then again I've never been most places so it's all an adventure.

Well, just let me know and I'll get the fires going and start mulling the apples for cider. tongue.gif

Have you ever been accross the border? I haven't. I'd like to, but I don't have the time or money.

3ravens, where's Owen Sound?

I have been across the border oh so briefly. Once as a child at Niagra Falls and once when I presented a paper at a symposium in Windsor.

So, though technically the answer is yes, in reality the answer is not really. I'd love to take one of those train trips across Canada. And I'd love to go to the Maritimes.

Maybe when I win the lottery.... oh... wait.... I'd probably have to buy a ticket first wouldn't I?

But hey, set those fires as beacons and start mulling those apples. Maybe your site will be chosen for the Highlander Radio Highland (or maybe Celtic) Festival!

Haven't been there as far as I know but have been to both ends of Canada. From Niagra to Atlantic and Banff to Pacific.
