I just discovered the Wicked Tinkers yesterday. I love their music. I was exploring their web site today, and stumbled here. Glad I did. I love it! I can't wait to own some Wicked Tinkers CD's.

The Avatar is from Aon Celtic Art. They have some cool free ware. Here is a link for anyone interested:

Thanks for offering this site, Macfive!

I joined in December of 2001 and Celtic Radio has really changed my taste in music. I LUV CELTIC... I'm most certain I used Google. I think it was fate that brought me here, I was destined to be the High Queen of Ireland! wink.gif

I loveeeeeeeeeeeee the Wicked Tinkers! Have two CDs of theirs that I play all the time.

well I learned about this site through my favorite author, Diana Gabaldon, who wrote a fictional series based in Scotland. Someone on her site asked about Celtic music and someone replied about this site and I checked it out and the rest is wonderful history. smile.gif

I found it on a link on the Clann An Drumma website. My folks had just seen them at the Glasgow Ky games and recommended I check out their website.

I found celticradio.net through a link from the Brobdingnagain Bards...and I found them through a specific search for a song they perform. I had listened to CR for quite some time but never got involved in the message boards. Then, I made my first post...and now have become a member.

I am so happy with everything macfive (and family) has made available to us here...I really think this is the best place on the net for 24 hr celtic music. I have referred several people here and am happy to be a listener!

I think I stumbled on it completely by accident. I was scanning around Windows Media Player for i-net radio sites and tripped over CR. Good thing my shoes were tied otherwise it would have really hurt! hehehe

Live 365. I was looking for a station that played LOTSA BAGPIPES, and that's what the search pointed me to -- Highlander Radio. The first time I logged in, I hit a whole hour of Wicked Tinkers, and that was enough for me. Like a stray cat that's been fed once, and never forgets your door again. biggrin.gif
