My brother asked me to find an "epic song in gaelic" I have quite a few gaelic songs (not as much as I would like but...) but none of them are war songs or the like. I was not able to find any so I was wondering if anyone knew of any, preferably in Scots-Gaelic but Irish is fine.

Tapadh leibh,

You could browse http://www.celticlyricscorner.net/ there's lots of songs there.

Or check out the BBC Alba site, in the Aig Cridhe Ar Ciùil section they have collected a couple of war songs.

All I could offer you as a suggestion would be the lament for MacCrimmon, which is war-related, but not a battle song or anything like that. But it's so well known I'm sure you must have thought of it already. It has the most haunting tune of any lament I've ever heard.
