Hi everyone, I hail from northern Maine. I've been a member of Celtic Radio in the past but never explored the forums. I think this will be fun. I have loved Scotland, it seems, forever. My husband and I have visited twice. I love Celtic music and have discovered it helps me with my writing. I just finished a novel set in 1787 Scotland (a mystery with a love story) that will be published shortly. There were certain artists and songs that really were inspirational to me.

I used to be a tenor drummer in a bagpipe band. I love Celtic art. Sometimes when I look at a photo of Scottish hills I am able to breathe deeply and let all my cares wash away.

I look forward to reading all your posts and becoming a part of the community!

I use to spend alot of time up in the Moosehead lake region of Maine when I was younger. My uncle had a place up there and a seaplane on the lake.
